Clinical Director (BCBA) – Lead with Purpose in a Supportive ABA Environment | Durham, NC

At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE), we're redefining leadership in ABA therapy. Our Clinical Directors are empowered to focus on clinical excellence, team mentorship, and quality outcomes—not just billable quotas.

We're seeking an experienced BCBA Clinical Director to lead our Durham, NC clinic—conveniently located near Chapel Hill, Cary, and the Research Triangle Park (RTP).

This role offers a reduced billable-hour requirement, allowing you to dedicate more time to leadership, collaboration, and clinical oversight.

Position Highlights

  • Setting: Clinic-based (Durham, NC – near Chapel Hill & RTP)
  • Schedule: Full-time, weekday hours
  • Reports To: Regional Clinical Leadership
  • Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 total package (base + performance bonus)

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and ensure high-quality ABA services
  • Develop, review, and refine individualized treatment plans
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical staff
  • Monitor progress data to guide treatment decisions and ensure outcomes
  • Lead caregiver training and strengthen family relationships
  • Ensure compliance with BACB ethics, HIPAA, and AutismCOE policies
  • Partner with operations leadership to improve efficiency and service quality
  • Contribute to strategic planning and clinic-wide initiatives

Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification (required)
  • North Carolina LBA or eligibility to obtain (required)
  • Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • 4–5 years of ABA experience, including 1–2 years in leadership
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, ethical, and family-centered care

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total Compensation: $140,000–$160,000/year (Base + Performance Bonus)
