We are looking for a highly motivated and physically capable individual for a strenuous, labor-intensive Fence Installer role. We are fully transparent: this is hard work that requires grit, heavy lifting, and an ability to work outdoors daily. If you're ready for the challenge and want to build a career, we want you
The Grind: What You'll Be Doing
As a Fence Installer, you'll be one of the paws on the ground making the magic happen. No two days are the same—you'll get to:
- Heavy Lifting & Manual Labor: This is a core part of the job. You must be able to frequently and safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing 50 pounds or more (e.g., bags of concrete, large lumber, steel posts) on uneven job sites.
- Digging & Setting: Perform strenuous tasks like digging post holes by hand and with power equipment (augers). You will mix and pour concrete and set posts to ensure rock-solid stability.
- All-Weather Work: You will be working outdoors in all weather conditions—from extreme heat and sun to rain, cold, and snow. Fences don't build themselves, and we work year-round.
- Installation: Assist with installing high-quality fences. This involves cutting, assembling, and securing panels using hand and power tools, including nail guns.
- Teamwork & Communication: Team up with crew members to keep jobs on schedule. You must be comfortable working within a team that may have multiple language barriers; patience and clear, respectful communication are essential.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
The Right Paw: What Will Make You Shine

- Proven Physical Endurance: You have the stamina and capability to handle the constant, heavy demands of construction labor all day, every day.
- Strong Work Ethic: You show up on time, ready to roll, and committed to working hard.
- Growth Mindset: You're looking for an opportunity, not just a job, and are ready to put in the time and effort needed for advancement.
- Love of the Outdoors: Fresh air, sunshine, and a good sweat are part of the gig—you embrace the elements.
- Team Player: We've got each other's backs, and so should you.
The Perks: Why Work for Cool Cat Fence?
- Real Career Path: We love to promote from within With hard work, proven experience, and time with the company, there is a clear opportunity to grow into a Foreman position and lead your own crew.
- Competitive pay with room to grow.
- On-the-job training and skill development.
- Fun team culture (lake days, BBQs, team events).
- Recognition for hard work (we love rewarding our top cats).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Benefits:

Application Question(s):
- This job requires constant, heavy lifting. You must frequently and safely lift and maneuver materials that weigh 50 to 60 pounds extensively throughout the entire workday. Are you physically able to meet this demand every day as needed?
- Fence installation involves demanding manual labor, specifically digging and preparing post holes in hard ground as needed. Can you describe your past experience with constant, heavy manual digging and other sustained, physical tasks outdoors?
- A typical job site is challenging. You will be carrying heavy materials while navigating stairs, hills, uneven ground, and trenches. Can you handle the physical demands of frequently climbing, kneeling, and lifting while working on this kind of difficult terrain?
- Considering the extremely labor-intensive nature of this role—the heavy, repetitive lifting, the constant physical exertion, and working outdoors in all weather elements—please take your time to decide: Are you absolutely comfortable with, and ready to commit to, the daily demands of this hard work?
