About the Role

Evergreen Hearts Foundation is an all-volunteer nonprofit producing educational and social events for nontraditional relationship structures, queer folks, and allies. We are seeking an AV Tech Volunteer to help ensure smooth technical operations during our upcoming events.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on event production, setting up equipment, and ensuring presentations and performances run seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and test projectors, projector screens, amplifiers, and microphones before events begin
  • Assist presenters and performers with connecting their laptops or other devices for slides and audio
  • Conduct quick troubleshooting for technical issues during events
  • Coordinate with event managers to ensure transitions between sessions are smooth
  • Help with teardown and proper storage of AV equipment at the end of the event

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older (some events are held in venues that serve alcohol)
  • Basic experience with AV setup (projectors, speakers, microphones, HDMI connections)
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced event environments
  • Punctual, dependable, and collaborative with other volunteers and presenters

About Evergreen Hearts Foundation

Evergreen Hearts Foundation is an all-volunteer non-profit dedicated to empowering individuals in non-traditional relationships to thrive and create their envisioned lives. We offer educational events focusing on polyamory and non-monogamy, covering essential topics such as personal development, relationship dynamics, and effective communication. We also host social events and maintain a vendor booth at festivals to raise awareness about polyamory.
