  • Collaborate with Product Managers, clinicians, and payer partners to identify automation opportunities and validate model outputs.
  • Integrate AI services with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) and payer APIs using FHIR, HL7, and X12 278 standards.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Monitor model accuracy, bias, and drift, ensuring compliance with Responsible AI principles and healthcare regulations.

  • Strong understanding of data privacy, HIPAA compliance, and model explainability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building AI tools integrated into EHR workflows (Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
  • Exposure to payer decision support systems such as InterQual or MCG.
  • Background in clinical informatics or healthcare interoperability engineering.
  • Familiarity with transformer-based LLMs (e.g., BERT, GPT, MedPaLM) and NLP-based reasoning models for medical text.
