You'll provide complete emergency care for patients of all ages:

  • Conduct thorough physical exams and obtain detailed medical histories
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and labs
  • Diagnose and treat acute conditions and injuries
  • Perform ER procedures: suturing, wound management, splinting, and more
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and the care team on complex cases
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in our EMR system

Requirements

  • MSN from an accredited nursing program
  • Active Texas NP license
  • Current NP certification (FNP, ACNP, ENP, or equivalent)
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
  • Strong procedural skills and ability to work independently
