Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Pharmacist who is passionate about compounding and patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent PharmD graduate or a pharmacist with limited compounding experience who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.The ideal candidate will support sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, perform accurate and timely order entry, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold our commitment to excellence and patient safety.HoursMonday - Thursday 7:30am - 6:00pmNo WeekendsNo HolidaysNo NightsKey ResponsibilitiesPrescription ManagementPerform prescription entry verification.Ensure prescriptions are entered with complete and accurate information into the pharmacy management system.Conduct final checks on compounded medications before dispensing.Ensure compliance with patient profiles, allergies, dosing, and therapy appropriateness.Patient & Provider CommunicationCommunicate with prescribers regarding clarifications, therapy options, product availability, and compounding formulations.Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, storage, and handling of compounded prescriptions.Provide excellent customer service to both patients and healthcare professionals with empathy and professionalism.Inventory & DocumentationMonitor inventory levels of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients, and compounding supplies.Log inventory receipts, usage, and waste in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.Oversee and document lot numbers, beyond-use dating (BUD), and batch tracking for all compounded medications.Support the accuracy and completeness of pharmacy records, including batch logs, temperature logs, and quality documentation.Compliance, Leadership & CollaborationEnsure adherence to all state board, DEA, and USP regulations.Assist in writing, reviewing, and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).Participate in training and mentoring pharmacy technicians.Collaborate with quality assurance and leadership teams to uphold safety, compliance, and best practices.Pharmacy Operations & CompoundingOversee and perform sterile and non-sterile compounding in compliance with USP , , and standards, as well as state and federal regulations.Verify all compounded and non-compounded prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with prescription orders.Ensure all compounded preparations meet labeling, packaging, and documentation requirements.Supervise and guide technicians and staff in proper compounding techniques and cleanroom conduct.Maintain cleanroom logs, environmental monitoring records, and ensure compliance with sterile processes.QualificationsEducation & LicensureDoctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited school of pharmacy.Active Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing required.Preferred:Prior exposure to compounding in an academic or professional setting (externships, rotations, internships).Understanding of USP , , and standards.Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative in a dynamic environment.Physical DemandsAbility to work in a cleanroom environment for extended periods.Ability to wear required PPE and follow gowning procedures.Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive tasks as needed.Job Type: Full-timePay: $110, $130,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbility to Commute:Little Rock, AR Required)Ability to Relocate:Little Rock, AR 72207: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
