REPORTS TO: RECEIVING MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the receiving manager with overseeing the daily receiving operations.

TASKS:

  • Assist in unloading trucks and delivering supplies to each department.
  • Arrange outgoing shipments.
  • Assist in cleaning up warehouse and office.
  • Review invoices for accuracy against the purchase orders and document any shortages.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Deliver UPS, Fed Ex and incoming freight from vendors.
  • Inventory control: rotate stock, receive, return, count and log in times in book.
  • Communicate with F & B leadership and Purchasing Manager regarding any shortages and delivery issues.
  • Assist with completing and processing Receiving function within accounting guidelines.

EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School graduate or equivalent. Must be able to operate forklift and/or pallet jacks. Ability to operate computer. Knowledge of receiving procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must be able to stand on your feet 95% of the day.
