As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Full Time in Biloxi, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by actively monitoring and conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail environment. Your visible presence and attentive approach will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license as you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or irregularities to management and/or law enforcement as necessary.
• Assist customers, visitors, and staff with directions and general inquiries as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Document and report security-related incidents and daily activities according to site requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment for employees, customers, and assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
