As a Security Professional - Retail Site in Biloxi, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas within a busy retail location. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment for guests and employees. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe for signs of theft, damage, or other unusual activity within the retail environment and promptly report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
• Work closely with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and support loss prevention initiatives.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal procedures.
• Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance to shoppers, staff, and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to or more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
