Position Overview: As a Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to strategically support the marketing and BD initiatives of the Firm and its various industries and practices.

Responsibilities

-Event Management:

  • Demonstrate a proven track record in the development, promotion, and execution of impactful internal and external events. You will be responsible for strategically developing and implementing best-in-class events for business leaders and decision makers.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to create and execute measurable efforts from ideation to post-event analysis, in both virtual and in-person environments.
  • Develop and implement end-to-end event marketing strategies, including pre-, during-, and post-event, that align with Firm objectives and audience insights. These responsibilities include developing creative, unique events; compiling strategic invitee lists; monitoring RSVPs; coordinating CLE/CE credit approval; and assisting with follow-up efforts.
  • In addition to Firm-hosted events, assist in identifying appropriate speaking, sponsorship, networking, and membership options that create BD opportunities, visibility, and advancement of marketing and BD goals.

-Firm Communications:

  • Lead the integration and effective use of the Firm's Contact Relationship Management system and develop appropriate contact mailing lists for targeted marketing communications and events.
  • Create content and design of client alerts, announcements, invitations, social media, and other marketing collateral pieces that maximize client and contact engagement.

-Digital Marketing Management:

  • Social media/Blogs - Engage audiences through strategic social media content; regularly analyze performance and develop/implement strategies to increase viewership and ROI. Work with individual attorneys on consistent social media activity and engagement.
  • Website - Maintain content and graphics of site with a strategic and tactical point of view.

-Professional Growth/Networking:

  • Attend and participate in professional development and training opportunities to consistently evolve skills, creativity, and ideas.
  • Grow and engage in your community of fellow legal marketers.

-General Administrative Duties:

  • Engage in special projects and administrative duties as needed.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of law firm experience preferred.
  • Software proficiency in Interaction, Vuture, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, and social media platforms preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully and confidently present in both an individual and/or group setting at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to effectively communicate plans and tactics across organizational stakeholders while being able to dive in and personally execute.
  • Ability to effectively function both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated strengths as an effective writer with excellent proofreading skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
