THE ROLE

We are looking for a General Manager who takes full ownership of daily operations, leads the team with clarity, and creates a culture of accountability and excellence.

This is a hands on role.

You will talk to customers, coach techs, problem solve, schedule jobs, inspect work, and keep the entire operation running clean and tight.

You are not a desk manager.

You are a presence.

You bring structure, communication, leadership, and standards to a growing company that is ready for its next level.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN: Leadership and Accountability

  • Lead service and repair teams with confidence and consistency
  • Hold techs responsible for photos, notes, communication, and professionalism
  • Coach, correct, and elevate daily
  • Build a culture where results matter more than excuses

Customer Communication and Experience

  • Speak with customers about issues, solutions, and updates
  • Make sure every estimate has a phone call, text message, and email
  • Follow up on quotes and close approved jobs
  • Turn frustrated customers into loyal customers
  • Own the customer communication flow from start to finish

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, routing, and job flow
  • Combine work orders and eliminate double trips
  • Review tech concerns before dispatch to avoid wasted time
  • Inspect completed jobs for notes, photos, and accuracy
  • Work closely with office staff to keep the pipeline flowing smoothly

Sales and Growth

  • Convert service opportunities into revenue
  • Present good, better, best options to customers
  • Follow up on open estimates and track conversions
  • Reduce callbacks and increase customer retention
  • Help scale the company with consistent and predictable operations

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in operations, service management, or field team leadership
  • The ability to hold people accountable without drama
  • Confidence with customer conversations
  • Ability to solve problems under pressure
  • Organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Experience in pools or home services is a plus but not required

We can teach pool equipment. We cannot teach leadership or ownership mentality.
