The Lifestyle Manager is responsible for developing, facilitating and maintaining a full schedule of events and activities for the community. This includes planning, coordination and execution of all clubs, classes, activities and programming.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage community lifestyle and recreation programing.Manage budgets, schedules, lifestyle operations, maintenance, and housekeeping. These items include both long and short-term operations.Hire, train, schedule, and manage staff for office, community, and lifestyle department.Responsible for safety of members, guests, and associates when on premises of participating in activities.Responsible for community communications such as newsletters, website, social media, work order and recreation software.Responsible for all community program revenue and expenditures.Maintain all signage within clubhouse, including displays, club boards, and general information.Coordinate partnerships with outside organizations and sponsors.Oversee coordination of facility rentals and reservations. Manage vendors, program instructors and event contracts.Prepare special reports, present programming update at Annual Meeting and attend Board of Directors meetings.Required to work events and recreation programs. Includes working nights, holidays and weekends.Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Effective written and verbal communication skillsAccurate and attentive to detailProficient computer (Excel and Word) General knowledge of clubhouse operationsAbility to problem solve and diplomatically handle customer issues

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education/Experience:  BS degree and 1-3 years experience in event planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Licenses/Certifications:  Valid Driver's License

Technical:  Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet.  Experience working with social media.

Communication:  Must have experience working with the public. Communicates clearly & professionally.  Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience.  Willing to help others.  Maintains composure in challenging situations.

Problem Solving & Quality:  Pays attention to detail.  Identifies & solves problems.  Escalates issues accordingly.  Checks work for quality.

Managing For Results:  Works well with supervision.  Takes projects to completion.  Follows all company policies & SOPs.  Manages multiple tasks.

Leadership & Initiative:  Demonstrates a positive attitude.  Acts in accordance with company vision, mission & values.  Takes accountability for own performance.  Willing to take on additional assignments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to: work outdoors including hot & cold temperatures, frequently lift 50 pounds; load, unload & move large equipment, continuously walk and stand for extended periods of time.
