About the job you're considering

We are seeking a skilled Hybrid Tester with strong expertise in both functional testing and Playwright-based automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through comprehensive testing strategies, leveraging both manual and automated approaches.

Your role

  • Understand business and technical requirements to design effective test strategies.
  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and maintain documentation.
  • Work with Playwright automation framework to:
  • Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
  • Perform functional testing across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analyze and synthesize test results, providing clear and actionable feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software.
  • Utilize test management tools such as JIRA, QMetry, Micro Focus ALM, or Octane for tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your skills and experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in functional testing.
  • 1+ year hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
  • Strong understanding of automation frameworks and scripting.
  • Ability to manage multiple testing efforts concurrently.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA/QMetry/MF ALM/Octane).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Telecom Mobile Domain.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
