Procurement Position - 6 Month Contract
Description Of Services
Process requests to purchase goods and services in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Preparebid documentation for procurement of materials and services.
- Postbids on public bidding sites.
- Prepareappropriate approval documentation for award.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including executives and clients.
- Manage project documentation and ensure that project files are up-to-date and accessible.
- Providevacation and absence coverage for MBTA Mailroom.
- Performall other duties and projects that may be assigned.
Required / Desired Skills
- Prior experience in a Buyer or Procurement role — Required
- Experience creating procurement documentation — Required
- Attention to detail — Required
- Ability to provide coverage for Mailroom support — Required
