Salary/Hourly Rate
$20/hr - $22/hr

Position Overview
The Benefits Support Specialist provides exceptional customer service by assisting clients with benefits enrollment, product education, and claim inquiries. This role ensures accurate processing of enrollment elections, clear communication, and timely issue resolution. This is a long-term contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Responsibilities Of The Benefits Support Specialist

  • Provide exceptional service and support to clients regarding benefits enrollment, plan options, and claims inquiries.
  • Guide participants through online enrollment tools and accurately process benefit elections.
  • Educate clients on available products to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Respond promptly to phone and written inquiries, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve complex service matters.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all client interactions.
  • Meet established standards for productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively in all interactions, including challenging situations.

Required Experience/Skills for the Benefits Support Specialist:

  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Strong background in customer service.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Benefits Support Specialist:

  • Health insurance license is a plus
  • Bilingual is preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent related work experience.
