Aisle Planner Pro, Inc, part of the Fullsteam organization, is seeking a goal-oriented full-time QA Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the QA Analyst will assist in ensuring the quality and functionality of SaaS products through rigorous testing. A successful candidate will be a team player, working in a collaborative environment to contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
QA Testing and Support:
- Monitor system and software to ensure functionality
- Collaborate with development team and fellow testers to develop test plans and new approaches for seeking out bugs and exploits in end-user-facing applications based on product requirements
- Provide feedback on functional specifications
- Assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality
Document and report product or service quality levels using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear communication of findings
Utilizing Atlassian software suite to test ongoing tickets
- Supporting the CS team on customer technical issues and communicate/update CS on tickets that are complete/resolved
- Update regression doc to ensure tests are accurate and up to date
- Support the development of automation testing scripts
- Ability to approach testing with an analytical mindset and think out of the box in case any acceptance criteria may have been missed in the ticket scope
- Feature Validation: Verify that new SaaS features meet functional, UI/UX, and business requirements before release.
- Test Planning & Documentation: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on feature specs and user stories.
- Release Readiness: Participate in sprint reviews, sign off on releases, and verify post-deployment health.
- Cross-Platform Testing: Validate browser compatibility, responsive design, and integrations with other SaaS tools (payments, eCommerce, APIs).
Customer Tech Support:
- Work within the Intercom ticketing system to follow up on any technical tickets assigned by the CS team through to completion
- Interface with customers regarding technical issues and needs
- Work as the liaison between Development and CS to ensure PM and CS Director are aware of ticket resolution timing
- Verify and document bugs, technical issues, and user pain points, and work directly to resolve technical bugs
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's needs, resolving the root cause of the issue, selecting and explaining the best solution to tackle the request, and following up to ensure satisfaction
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven working experience as a Quality analyst or tester in information technology sector
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Experience with bug tracking and management tools such as Atlassian software suite (Jira / Confluence)
- Strong time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills working with end users for technical issues and resolution
- Analytical approach to troubleshooting
- Strong organizational skills
- High Attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing role, preferably in a software development environment
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Basic understanding of bug tracking and test management tools
- Knowledge of testing tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
