The Process Engineering position requires a self-motivated, skilled engineer to develop and implement efficient production processes. The candidate should be familiar with various machining techniques, including milling, drilling, and grinding. Be able to utilize software for planning and simulating production processes. The position also requires a hands-on approach to learning and analysis along with the ability to work with people of all skill levels.

What You Will Do in the Role:

Developing, planning, and implementing new process controls to maintain qualityPerforming analysis of machining operations to identify areas for improvement.Collaborating with design engineers to optimize product design for efficient manufacturingCreating detailed work instructions and training employees' new processesAddressing and troubleshooting issues that may arise during productionMakes recommendations for improvements in products in terms of improved cost and quality.Trains and instructs other workers as assignedAlways maintain a clean safe work areaComplies with company rules, policies, and procedures. Reports any problems circumstances to managerMay, on occasion, perform other related duties to aid other teams on request

What You Will Bring to the Role:

Experience as a Machining Process Engineer or similar roleExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsStrong communication and project management skillsAbility to work in a fast paced high pressure environmentA working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point is a necessityBachelor's degree in mechanical engineeringExperience with manufacturing machine equipment preferredExperience with corrosion preventative finishes a plus

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work for prolonged periods on a computer or in a lab environmentAbility to move test equipment up to 25 poundsMust be able to support limited travel to support customers and testing as required
