Quality Engineer

Growing Aerospace Company, looking for an Quality Engineer with bench inspection layout capabilities.
NO RELOCATION FUNDING
As a Quality Engineer You will be responsible for ensuring compliance of Satellite Tool and Machine processes with Customer requirements, and ensure proper inspection of produced large specialty metal aircraft engine parts . It will be achieved thru variety of projects and initiatives within the company. Work will include support of process development, audits, corrective action implementation and support of quality inspectors.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support manufacturing engineers in creation of process flows, PFMEA and control pans
· Compile and submit FAIR packages per AS9102
· Review of customer PO's for quality requirements
· Development of inspection method sheets
· PPAP submissions
· Participate in the root cause investigations, and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions.
· Manage supplier surveys and audits
· Support internal auditing
· Assist in managing quality awareness
· Support inspectors in daily tasks
· Review special process certification
· Review and approve CMM routines
· Perform Correlation, MSA, and SPC studies
Must have skills include:
· Interpretation of drawing requirements per ASME Y14.5
· Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney, General Electric and Sikorsky quality requirements
· Good eyesight and experience in visual inspection
· Extensive knowledge of inspection methods
· Advanced use of Excel, Word, Outlook
- Creates and edits forms with functions like sorting, automatic color highlight, hyperlinks,
pivot tables
· Can use Net Inspect
· Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and use lift for heavier parts
· Capable of performing high quality work in fast paced environment
· Reads, Writes and Speaks in English
Job Type: Full-time
