Receiving and Stockroom Specialist

Lanteris Space Systems is currently seeking a Receiving and Stockroom specialist to join our team in San Jose. In this role, you will be part of an amazing talented team and we are looking for someone that will help us achieve greater success with their receiving and shipping skills.

• Responsible for maintaining the dock and receiving material in our ERP system. Ensuring the quantity of hardware ordered matches the quantity received. Ensuring to match the correct documentation for quality inspectors to perform inspection.
• Unloads and processes receipt of merchandise from inbound trucks.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Inspecting for damages to all hardware upon arrival.
• Operating and managing technical equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Securing/banding loads to machine before transportation.
• Loading sensitive and high value items on the truck.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintains a clean work area by removing empty pallets, sweeping and cleaning up boxes and other debris.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to safety management standards.
• Adhering to production schedules.
• Responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing flight parts. Ensuring the quantity of hardware ordered matches the quantity received.
• Organizing the stocking of parts in the Stockroom utilizing our ERP system
• Kit, consolidate and audit space flight hardware in a high pace environment.
• Maintain an organized flow of parts and receive into database.
• Ability to work with small electronic components using small hand tools to handle inventory.
• Perform all inventory management functions and production work order kitting.
• Maintain all working areas to 5S lean standards
• Maintain a working knowledge of Flight Stores operational policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• High School Diploma
• 2 years minimum experience of receiving and/or stockroom, or related work experience
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday, evenings or weekend shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Certified
• Excellent communication and written skills required
• Familiar with handling high value flight hardware
• Familiar with 5S lean environment
• Self-motivated and team player
• Superior organizational and documentation skills

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

• The base pay for this position within California is: $ $39.53 hourly.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
