Position Summary:   The Quality Manager position requires a professional, organized individual with the ability to take ownership of new projects. This position will work in coordination with multiple departments including Engineering, Sales, Quality and Production.

Qualifications (include but are not limited to):

  • Bachelor degree in related field preferred 
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Leadership position
  • Must be able to analyze numerical data and detect abnormal situations
  • Knowledge of how to handle and operate all equipment assigned in the area

Duties (include but are not limited to):  

  • Communicate with all associates, keeping them up to date on any changing of information on parts and quality systems. 
  • Ensuring the QC Lab Team Leader has all tools needed to facilitate the daily shipment of parts in assigned areas, including preparation and quality inspection
  • Ensure all associates are working with high accuracy in each process is completed as instructed
  • Monitor equipment status and conditions
  • Participate in meetings as directed by Plant Manager (Customer status, Continuous Improvement, Master Plan, etc.)
  • Find company's weakness and develop and implement multiple recommendations based on cost effectiveness/ reduction, quality effectiveness, processing efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction in timely manner
  • Communicate with all departments, passing information along freely to ensure that customers are kept up to date with status of their products 
  • Ensure associates are cross trained on equipment and customer specifics
  • Foster the career development of those Associates that report to this position
  • Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager, or as position needs change

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and working with HR when the need arises to hire any new employees
