Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Wash dishes and stock snack/condiment/beverage appropriately.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared according to dietary guidelines and safety standards.
  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of dining areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining space.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for working with seniors.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Education – High school Level diploma or equivalent knowledge is a prerequisite for entry into profession.

  • Experience/Training – Minimum of 6 months of experience in related field preferred.

  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Food Handlers Certification
