Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring efficient order entry and timely delivery
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and beverages with professionalism, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
  • Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately while processing payments swiftly
  • Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving concerns with a friendly attitude

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in sports pubs
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast
  • Strong background in customer service, guest relations, and hospitality principles
  • Culinary experience or familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and basic food preparation techniques is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent service standards
  • Experience with food industry safety protocols including food safety regulations and sanitation practices
  • Excellent communication skills paired with basic math proficiency for cashiering and cash handling tasks
