Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis tools and methodologies, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. The Data Analyst will collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity and provide actionable insights that drive business growth and efficiency.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics and trends.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes utilizing Talend, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL to ensure accurate data flow across systems.
  • Design and optimize databases with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles to support analytical needs.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies for project management and delivery.
  • Create detailed documentation using Visio for system architecture, workflows, and process maps.
  • Apply advanced analysis skills in R, VBA, and other analytical tools to interpret data patterns and generate insights.
  • Support Linked data initiatives by integrating diverse data sources for comprehensive analysis.

Experience

  • Proven experience in data analysis with proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and ETL tools such as Talend.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Demonstrated ability in business analysis, project management, and working within Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes for software development projects.
  • Knowledge of database design principles and experience with VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively.
