Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with skill and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.

  • Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including knife skills for efficient food preparation.

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is highly preferred, especially within restaurant or fine dining settings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food industry standards.
  • Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, showcasing familiarity with special dietary needs and meal planning.
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are essential for efficiency and safety.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices ensures compliance and quality assurance.
  • Exposure to catering services or large-scale food handling enhances versatility within the role.
  • A background in the food industry with culinary experience supports your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
