Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
  • Assist with meal preparation for various dietary needs within the dietary department.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
  • Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Follow food safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation practices at all times.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Familiarity with menu planning and dietary requirements is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are essential.
  • A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
