RPStaffing is conducting an immediate search for the Events and Membership Coordinator with a major US education nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. This is a highly interactive position for someone who enjoys working on a wide variety of daily tasks.
***Candidates must currently be living in the Washington, D.C. area***

Office Status
: Hybrid – 3 days onsite – M-F
Flexible Hours:
Full-time – core hours are 9:30 to 3:30 – flexible on start and stop times around core hours

: Washington, DC

DUTIES
- Coordinate activities in preparation of daily and weekly meetings as well as the Annual Meeting
- Provide a high level of customer service to members via phone, email, and in person
- Assist with data management including data entry and running reports
- Provide as-needed support for the Membership Department
- Support the Director of Membership with any requests
- Attend the Annual Meeting and assist with onsite guest registration
- Review the Membership email inbox, respond to inquiries independently or flag email for the appropriate person
- Assist with processing invoices
- Help members complete online transactions
- Some travel required
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/ BS strongly desired
- At least one year of related experience
- Strong computer literacy in MS Office
- Flexible team player
- Experience with data entry
- Experience with customer service
- Association experience a plus
