Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control Financial Site in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and professional communication will contribute to a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will rely on technology such as computers or tablets to support your access control duties. What You'll Do:

• Perform access control duties by verifying credentials and managing entry points within the financial institution location.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and security-related systems to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees, visitors, and/or clients with adherence to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to observe for potential security-related concerns.
• Complete security-related reports and logs as required by site-specific protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including collaborating with site management and/or local authorities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badges is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
