As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout government buildings and surrounding areas to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as directed during incidents or drills.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and greeting visitors in accordance with site protocols.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly as part of daily responsibilities.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
