We're hiring a Regional Sales Director – Banking & Financial Services for one of our top insurance technology partners based in Dallas, TX.
This is a high-impact Technology Sales Hunter role focused on selling software services and digital technology solutions to major banking and financial institutions. If you excel at opening new doors, building strategic relationships, and closing complex enterprise deals — this opportunity is for you.
About The Role
As a Regional Sales Director, you will drive revenue growth by identifying new banking clients, delivering customized technology solutions, and leading full-cycle enterprise sales strategies. You'll work closely with technical, marketing, and leadership teams to position the organization as a leading solutions provider within the BFSI sector.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Prospect, identify, and acquire new banking/financial clients.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through networking, targeted outreach, and cold prospecting.
- Execute account penetration strategies to expand market footprint.
Solution Selling
- Consult with banking clients to understand their pain points and priorities.
- Collaborate with technical teams to craft tailored software/technology solutions.
Industry Expertise
- Keep current with BFSI trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
- Represent the company as a thought leader through insights, events, and forums.
- Cross-sell and upsell within existing enterprise accounts.
Sales Execution
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting → negotiation → closure.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure seamless post-sale implementation.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work with marketing on targeted campaigns and banking-focused content.
- Use CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage leads, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Provide performance metrics and market feedback to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of technology sales experience, with strong focus on banking & financial services.
- Proven success selling software solutions, digital transformation, AI-driven services, or related technologies.
- Deep understanding of BFSI challenges, regulatory frameworks, and technology needs.
- Strong consultative and enterprise solution-selling skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
