About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing Technology Sales Hunter with proven experience selling software services and digital solutions to the banking and financial services industry. This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise clients, building strategic relationships, and delivering technology solutions that address the unique needs of financial institutions.

This is a true hunter role focused on new logo acquisition, not account farming.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients within banks and financial institutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through targeted outreach, cold prospecting, and industry networking.
  • Develop tailored account penetration strategies to expand market presence across the Texas territory.

Solution Selling

  • Engage with banking clients to understand their priorities, pain points, and technology needs.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to propose customized software and digital transformation solutions.

Industry Expertise

  • Stay up to date on banking trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
  • Position the organization as a trusted industry partner by sharing insights and participating in events.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the financial services portfolio.

Sales Execution

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Ensure smooth transition to delivery teams for successful implementation.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets through disciplined pipeline and territory management.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Partner with marketing to develop campaigns and materials tailored to banking clients.
  • Use CRM tools such as Salesforce to track leads, update forecasts, and analyze sales performance.
  • Report insights, trends, and progress to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of technology sales and business development experience.
  • At least 5 years of recent experience selling solutions within the FinTech or banking technology domain.
  • Demonstrated success in selling software services including digital transformation and AI-driven solutions.
  • Experience consistently meeting annual quotas of 3.5M to 4M USD.
  • Proven track record as a hunter with new logo acquisition.
  • Experience selling in or around the Texas territory.
  • Strong understanding of the banking industry landscape, challenges, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong client relationship-building experience with C-suite and senior decision-makers.
  • Must have worked at mid to large technology companies with minimum 1000+ employees.
  • No education gaps; strong job stability is required.

Preferred Background

  • Previous experience with companies such as Infosys, TCS, Genpact, or similar enterprise IT organizations.
