Job Overview

Industry leading optical company seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in finding the products they need. You will play a crucial part in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer's shopping experience and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by regularly checking inventory levels and restocking as needed.
  • Utilize retail math skills to assist with pricing, discounts, and inventory management.
  • Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and participating in team meetings.

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
  • Experience in upselling and cross-selling products is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with retail math concepts will be beneficial for managing transactions and inventory.
