Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to support the County of Los Angeles IT operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform to ensure high availability and performance. This role will involve working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to enhance and streamline service management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.

  • Manage user access, roles, and groups within the ServiceNow environment.

  • Develop and maintain forms, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts.

  • Perform platform upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance to ensure system stability and security.

  • Create reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for various departments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities using ServiceNow capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with County IT policies and data security standards.

  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules and workflows.

  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, UI Policies, Business Rules).

  • Familiarity with CMDB management, integrations, and service catalogs.

  • Experience performing ServiceNow platform upgrades and migrations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
