Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed and sanitized efficiently. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
  • Support banquet services by ensuring that all necessary items are cleaned and ready for events.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during peak hours.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.

Skills

  • Experience in bussing tables and providing food service support is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is a plus.
  • Familiarity with banquet operations and catering services will be beneficial.
  • Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a sanitary environment.
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle food safely according to health regulations.
  • A background in hospitality or hotel experience can enhance your application.
