The person we select for this position will have 2 years of recent outside sales positions in the Trucking/Transportation industry.

We will ask that you supply references.

The person we select will have a current book of business and will not be under any form of current non-compete.

Your salary and benefits package will be based on your experience and discussed in detail during your interviews. We plan on offering a base plus commission.

In this position you will be able to sell our asset trucks, we offer team and solo service. In addition, we are a fully hazmat qualified carrier.

You will not be limited to any geographical area.

Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and generate leads through cold calling and networking.
  • Manage existing accounts while seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value of our offerings.
  • Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and enhance lead generation efforts.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements relevant to our products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales with a strong track record in Transportation sales.
  • Familiarity with territory management and direct sales strategies.
  • Proficient in CRM software applications; experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights for business development.
  • Experience in Transportation / Logistics industries is a requirement.
  • Knowledge of lead generation techniques and effective cold calling strategies.
