Job Summary

We are seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) with edema, wound care and Hoyer lift experience in Shoreview Monday-Friday 10am-3pm to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities also include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, and other tasks that improve the client's living environment and standards. The ideal candidate for this position is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Would care and compression care for an edema patient
  • Ability to transfer patient with the assistance of a Hoyer Lift
  • Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
  • Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
  • Meal prep, shopping plan, cooking light meals and snacks
  • Assist with errands and shopping visit
  • Light housekeeping activities
  • Provide respectful engagement and companionship

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
  • Ability to transfer heavy objects
  • Compassionate, respectful, ethical and friendly personality
