We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with expertise in the manufacturing/distribution sectors, and deep familiarity with SAP systems.

Description

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate financial records and streamline operations.
  • Utilize SAP systems to manage financial data and reporting effectively.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies within the manufacturing sector.
  • Provide support for audits and implement recommendations as needed.

Profile

  • Strong background in accounting or public accounting, preferably with experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems for financial data management and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Desired Skills and Experience
*Manufacturing accounting experience (flexibility around product category, but distribution experience is a must)

*SAP proficiency

*CPA and/or MBA preferred
