Our client, a well-respected and growing organization, is seeking an experienced accounting professional to help lead and expand their Accounting Services function. This role plays a key part in overseeing financial processes, enhancing operational efficiency, supporting client and internal initiatives, and contributing to team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Accounting Services department, including structure, workflow, and team development.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support clients through monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting cycles.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert during client onboarding and in ongoing client meetings.
  • Provide strategic and technical accounting insights to leadership, consultants, and clients.
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor accounting team members.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Active CPA
    preferred; strong consideration given to candidates with equivalent experience and technical depth.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting processes.
  • Experience leading teams or managing staff.
