Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Service & Warranty Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of pool equipment while providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in service technician roles, and a passion for pool maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

  • This position also requires interaction with customer and customer financial information and requires a background check that meets the THESEAL.COM standards. This position requires driving to and from job sites, applicant must be an eligible driver.

Hours of work are 8:00 to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and Friday 8:00 – 4:00 p.m. Paid One hour lunch.

Job Responsibilities (Job descriptions are not limited to list below)

Water Chemistry Knowledge: Understanding how to test and balance pool chemicals.

Equipment Knowledge: Expertise in operating and maintaining various pool components, including filters, pumps, heaters, skimmers and automated systems.

Troubleshooting: Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues with pool equipment and systems.

Plumbing: Knowledge of plumbing systems to address issues with water flow and leaks.

Electrical: Understanding the electrical principles to work with pool equipment safely and effectively. Running equipotential bond wires.

Communication: Clear and Effective communication with customers to explain service options and issues. Clear and Effective communication with fellow employees.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks to manage schedules effectively. Responsible for completing Punch Out Work and scheduling work when needed.

Procedural Adherence: Ability to adhere to procedures and fully using company systems.

Professionalism: Presenting a friendly, professional and respectful demeanor to clients.

Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly identify and address customer needs or service problems.

Independent Work: The capability to work independently, following instructions and collaborating with a team.

Physical Stamina: This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy equipment, work outdoors in different weather, and perform tasks like bending, kneeling, digging, pouring and cutting concrete. This description is not a full description of all physical task that may need to be performed.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the pool maintenance industry is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and equipment operation is essential.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to pool systems and provide effective solutions.
