Piper Companies is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Newark, DE. The facility is part of a national healthcare group focused on delivering high-quality outcomes and improving the patient and provider experience through physician-led surgical care.

Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing

  • Lead daily clinical operations across Pre-Op, OR, and PACU.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Oversee staff development, infection control, and performance improvement.
  • Foster collaboration between nursing, administrative, and physician teams.

Qualifications of the Director of Nursing

  • Active RN license in Delaware; BSN required (MSN preferred).
  • BLS & ACLS certifications (or completion within 90 days).
  • 10+ years of nursing leadership experience in ASC or hospital settings.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills.

Compensation for the Director of Nursing

  • $140,000–$160,000 annually
  • Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends or holidays
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave (as required by law), and Paid Holidays
