Job Description

The Sr. Lead Low Voltage Lead Technician is responsible for planning and executing small to large structured cabling projects under the guidance of an OSPM and/or Project Manager. Acting as a subject matter expert on site, this role is critical to ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and with the highest standards of quality and customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan and assign crew tasks
  • Execute structured cabling projects efficiently
  • Maintain site safety compliance and PPE standards
  • Conduct construction meetings and walkthroughs
  • Generate redline drawings, labeling, and as-builts
  • Ensure site housekeeping and completion punch lists
  • Submit test results and daily progress reports
  • Oversee on-the-job training (OJT) for team members
  • Manage material requests and permits
  • Support project commissioning
  • Demonstrate knowledge of industry codes and standards
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
  • Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication
  • Safely operate a company vehicle when required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of structured cabling experience (required)
  • Minimum 4 years in telecommunications (required)
  • 2 years of leadership experience (required)
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and codes
  • Ability to lead teams and deliver projects safely and effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts
