Commercial Assistant Property Coordinator – Pittsburgh, PA

Walnut Capital is seeking a Property Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a commercial property located in Pittsburgh, PA. This role provides administrative, operational, and tenant-facing support to ensure the property is maintained to high standards and operates efficiently.

Please note: This position requires availability to work weekends as needed.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Coordinate and support daily property operations for a commercial office / retail environment
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants regarding routine requests and service issues Assist with vendor coordination and tracking of work completion
  • Create, assign, and monitor work orders
  • Support property inspections and overall building appearance
  • Track contracts, certificates of insurance, and service agreements
  • Assist with invoice processing and expense documentation
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and property records
  • Coordinate building access, keys, and badges
  • Assist with emergency response procedures
  • Provide on-site weekend or after-hours support as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in commercial property management or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of building operations a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with MRI, Building Engines, or similar software a plus
  • Ability to work weekends and occasional after-hours as needed

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
