Position Summary

We//'re seeking a passionate and results-driven Public Relations Manager to lead external PR strategy and execution for Avon//'s U.S. beauty portfolio-spanning Color, Skincare, Fragrance, and Personal Care-while also supporting LG Beauty brands.

The ideal candidate is a creative communicator with strong media relationships, a keen editorial sense, and a deep understanding of the beauty and lifestyle media landscape. You//'ll develop and pitch impactful stories, secure high-visibility placements, and drive meaningful media engagement that builds brand reputation and excitement.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves the intersection of beauty, culture, and media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute innovative, high-impact PR campaigns in collaboration with the Senior PR Manager and cross-functional teams.
  • Craft and pitch compelling brand stories aligned with Avon and LG Beauty//'s messaging goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with beauty, lifestyle, and trade media, as well as influencers and tastemakers.
  • Identify and capitalize on timely media opportunities, trends, and cultural moments to amplify brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, brand partners, and external experts to enhance PR reach and storytelling.
  • Manage press events, product launches, and media activations that deliver buzzworthy coverage.
  • Track, monitor, and report on media coverage and share PR wins across internal and external channels.
  • Stay current on beauty trends, pop culture, and digital PR strategies to ensure brand relevance and innovation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor//'s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Public Relations, preferably in the beauty industry or at a PR agency representing beauty clients.
  • Proven success in securing top-tier editorial placements and managing media relationships.
  • Established network of beauty editors and media contacts across print, digital, and social platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Deep knowledge of beauty media, affiliate marketing, and influencer engagement.
  • Confident working with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Creative, culturally aware, and passionate about beauty, media, and brand storytelling.
