Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experiencedCoffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for coffee. This role requires effective leadership to ensure a positive experience for both customers and staff while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality and knowledge about the specialty coffee shop industry.

Duties

  • Manage daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards.
  • Utilize POS Square system for efficient cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Conduct inventory control to manage stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Train, develop, and supervise staff in all aspects of coffee preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize profitability.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance the guest experience.
  • Schedule shifts and manage staff performance to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

Experience

  • Proven experience in coffee shop management
  • Strong background in food service management with knowledge of food handling practices.
  • Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes.
  • Demonstrated ability in team management, training & development, and shift management.
  • Familiarity with fine dining or casual dining experiences is preferred.
  • Previous barista/manager experience or knowledge of coffee preparation is a must.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
