Who We Need

We're hiring a Business Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting and generate qualified meetings for our sales team across three business lines: Advisory, Talent, and Coaching & Wellness. This is a true top-of-funnel role: you'll identify target accounts, execute outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn, and book meetings that advance the pipeline. You'll work closely with sales leadership, learning enterprise B2B sales from experienced professionals, while building relationships with senior decision-makers at multi-billion-dollar firms.

What You'll Do
  • Pipeline Generation (Most of Your Time)
  • Research and identify target accounts in our ideal client profile
  • Execute disciplined outbound outreach via email, calls, and LinkedIn
  • Personalize messaging to resonate with prospects' needs and pain points
  • Book qualified meetings for the sales team
  • CRM & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate account and activity records in HubSpot
  • Track outreach performance and pipeline metrics
  • Provide feedback to refine messaging and outreach strategies
  • Market Insight
  • Share trends and insights from prospect conversations
  • Help shape sales strategy based on real market feedback
What Success Looks Like
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified meetings and opportunities
  • Consistently meet or exceed outreach and conversion targets
  • Gain mastery of Arootah's offerings across advisory, talent, and coaching
  • Progress toward a promotion to Account Executive within 12–18 months
What We're Looking For
  • Required:
  • 1–3 years in B2B sales, BDR/SDR, or related roles (finance, consulting, or SaaS experience is a plus)
  • Experience hitting outreach and meeting KPIs
  • Confidence in cold outreach and initiating conversations
  • Coachable, motivated, and goal-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using CRM and sales tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Preferred:
  • Experience selling into alternative investment firms
  • Familiarity with executive search, consulting, or coaching/wellness services
  • Existing network in the alternative investment space
