Construction Coordinator

Drive-Out Team
PRG is seeking a skilled Construction Coordinator to join our Drive-Out team. This role involves driving throughout the Nashville market identifying excavators that may be working near or around telecom plant.The ideal candidate will have a reliable vehicle, insurance, and valid drivers license. They will also be comfortable with driving throughout the area and speaking with contractors to understand the scope and duration of the project .
Responsibilities
- Drive our Fiber network daily looking for Construction working around existing telecom fiber plant.
- Determine if locate paint has is visible on the ground identifying our Clients' plant.
- Identify if the digging will have an impact on the Fiber network.
- Speak with the excavator to understand the scope and duration of the work.
- Work with the Special Response team (SRT Team) to make them aware of digging near plant.
- Fill out Field Construction verification form.
- Return the next day to verify if a 3rd party excavator has moved along the path and locate the follow path.
- Ensure "See something, say something: to include in the report, any temps on the ground, low hanging lines, etc.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of underground utilities experience is a plus.
- Bilingual preferred, Able to communicate clearly and ability to adjust delivery to your audience verbally.
- Willingness to use your vehicle in the field (mileage reimbursement at the standard federal rate).
- Perform job functions both indoors and outdoors rain or shine.
- Receptive to field training.
- Customer service acumen to interpret, communicate, and help deliver client needs.
Work Environment
- This position requires work in the field. Field work includes walking sites, and engaging directly with teams and clients. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and appropriate insurance are required.
