Summary

The The Place and Finish Coordinator performs under the direction of the finisher foreman/lead and carries out assignments related to concrete placement, finishing, curing, cutting, based on the proper selection of equipment, materials and finishing sequence needed to deliver an acceptable end product.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Place and Finish Coordinator will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, high quality, and productive (SQP) manner.     • Decides on proper equipment needed to obtain required finish.
  • Remains knowledgeable of all hardeners, toppings, and concrete mixes .
  • Reviews pump location & layout.
  • Establishes how grades are to be achieved.
  • Coordinate Large pours
  • Attends weekly meeting (sub or foreman's)
  • Participate in the execution of concrete placement
  • Ensure a safe work envionment
  • Participate in Training/Certification
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience and/or training.
  • Assists with scheduling of place/finish crews.
  • Assists superintendent with scheduling of manpower.
  • Maintains manpower schedule board.
  • Acts as timekeeper for place/finish crews.
  • Tracks and reports quantities of place/finish crews.
  • Tracks mix design and submittals for place/finish operation.
  • Able to work flexible hours (early starts or late endings) during concrete pours.
