At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE), we'll support your growth every step of the way — whether you're just starting your ABA career or already certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

No ABA experience required — you'll receive paid training while completing the 40-hour RBT course as part of your onboarding.

Position Details

  • Location: Colonial Heights, VA
  • Setting: Clinic-based ABA therapy
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional Saturday availability based on clinic needs
  • Status: Full-time or part-time
  • Reports To: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Compensation:
  • Non-Certified BT: $17.00–$21.00/hr (based on experience)
  • RBT Certified: $21.50–$26.00/hr (based on experience & certification)

What You'll Do

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in a supportive clinic environment
  • Implement individualized treatment and behavior plans under BCBA supervision
  • Collect and record session data using digital tools
  • Support skill development in communication, social interaction, and independence
  • Maintain a positive, structured learning environment
  • Collaborate professionally with BCBAs, teammates, and caregivers

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to complete training and background checks

Preferred (not required):

  • Experience working with children (e.g., childcare, tutoring, camps, or similar)
  • Interest in psychology, education, or behavior analysis
