We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and guest-focused Restaurant Floor Manager to lead our rooftop Greek restaurant in Wynwood, ensuring operational excellence, staff development, and an exceptional guest dining experience.

Job Overview

As the Restaurant Floor Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, from managing front-of-house and back-of-house teams to maintaining financial performance, marketing initiatives, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering memorable Greek dining experiences in an upscale rooftop setting

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, food quality, and high service standards
  • Staff Leadership: Train and manage restaurant staff, fostering teamwork, high morale, and professional growth
  • Customer Experience: Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction by addressing feedback, resolving complaints, and promoting a welcoming, hospitable environment
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations for front and back-of-house operations
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare operational reports, monitor key performance indicators, and propose actionable plans to achieve business objectives
  • Scheduling & Labor Management: Create staff schedules efficiently, manage shifts for peak times, and oversee labor cost optimization

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Floor Service Manager in fine-dining or high-volume establishments (preferably with rooftop, Mediterranean, or Greek cuisine experience)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of restaurant financials, budgeting, and cost-control measures
  • Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and scheduling software
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special rooftop events
