As a Security Officer - Center Patrol in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing top-tier customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will interact with visitors and staff, manage access points, and utilize technology as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff as required during patrols and in response to incidents.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related breaches, or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
• Assist with access control and monitoring of the site as required to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
