Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, inspect, repair, and service rack-mounted UPS systems, self-contained AC units, and control systems supporting IT enclosures.
  • Conduct quarterly preventative maintenance inspections on self-contained IT enclosures at multiple client sites.
  • Respond promptly to component failures, ensuring quick and efficient repair or replacement.
  • Install IT components within enclosures with precision and expertise.
  • Document all onsite activities using TCM software, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
  • Maintain open communication with clients to schedule onsite visits for maintenance and repairs.
  • Prepare site-specific safety documentation to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on site-specific training and safety requirements to maintain access to client sites.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting electrical or HVAC systems
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the US, Mexico, and Canada (company paid)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to meet or exceed company-qualifying standards
  • Ability to have flexible work hours to accommodate site access requirements; weekend work required
  • Ability to safely use hand/power tools and testing equipment to perform necessary tasks
  • Drug test/background check required
  • Trade license or education (preferred)
  • Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
